Hi my name is Rich and I'm from Pontiac Mi. I never knew Steve in Michigan but I met him in Las vegas..he was here doing a car show and he wandered into a bar where my group The NiteKings was playing...we sang a song that I learned in Detroit by the Enchanters called "There Goes a Pretty Girl"...When we finished i walked to the bar and stood next to Steve and to my amazement he said that was one of his favorite songs and asked me where I learned it(never ran into anyone who knew that song but me) but as they say "the rest is history" We saw each other everytime he came to town...we talked about all the musicians we knew back in Detroit..I will miss those visits and those great talks..Steve knew a lot of music and I'm sure he blowing a tune or two now. God Bless and condolences to family and friends Rich

I met Steve about 1999 through Jimmy (The Weasel) Orlando. I've never met a person like Steve in my whole life (68).

He loved everybody and everybody who ever came in contact with him loved him. In the ten years that I knew him, I never herd him say a bad word about anyone.

He is the most talented high I.Q. person that I ever knew. He designed, built and painted beautiful custom cars/rods and bikes. He was a radio disk jockey at one time. Drummer in the 50's for the Teen Angels. His work found the covers of many hot rod magazines. He was president of the Dearborn MI Kontinentals custom car club. He was a do whop singer. He had the quickest mind and the best sense of humor on this earth. These are only a few of his many talents.

My deepest sympathies to his wife, daughter, and all the people that he has touched with his friendship in his short time on this earth.

I wish that I would have just called one last time to talk with him. I'm really hurting...Go with God, my brother. You well surely be at the Lord's side.

The world has lost a very, very special person.
